Summit Lake Park is a beautiful 6 hectare park located with in the Nakusp range of the Selkirk Mountains. Park visitors enjoy canoeing, fishing for rainbow and cutthroat trout or swimming in the lake’s clear, refreshing water. The mountainous backdrop of the park is a stage to the wonders of nature. A natural spectacle occurs as thousands of toads emerge from the lake and migrate to the nearby forest to hibernate for the winter. Mountain goats can often be viewed on rocky outcroppings and in late summer, while birds in flight paint the skyline.

Steelhead Park is a convenient overnight camping and picnicking spot for travelers on Highway 1. This is also a popular destination camp for visitors enjoying boating and fishing on Kamloops Lake, at the head of the Thompson River. The park offers 240 metres of beach on the lake and 1,000 metres of frontage along the river. The Savona community offers the amenities of a small town.

Silver Beach Park is located on the north end of Seymour Arm of Shuswap Lake, on the site of an historical gold rush town called Ogden City (now called Seymour Arm). The campground has sites located next to the beautiful sandy beach of the Seymour River estuary. The park provides destination camping for people arriving by boat and by vehicle (Forest Service road from Anglemont). Silver Beach provides the ideal summer holiday for those whose interests are swimming, house-boating, scuba-diving, fishing, water-skiing or just soaking up the sun. Anglers take note that Shuswap Lake contains 19 species of fish! Groceries and camping supplies are available locally.

Herald Park is a popular camping and day-use destination. The park covers 79 hectares of beautiful beach and forested uplands. It offers frontcountry camping, a boat launch, and a large day-use area. It is a great spot to use as a base camp for visiting the many attractions of the Shuswap area. Swimming, fishing, and bird watching are popular activities in this park, as is the self-guided nature walk to Margaret Falls.

Set on the shore of Nicola Lake, Monck Park offers a wide assortment of recreational activities including camping, picnicking, swimming, fishing, boating, waterskiing, windsurfing and hiking. Monck Park is a very popular family-oriented campground in a hot, dry setting. In addition to providing recreational opportunities, Monck protects a Ponderosa pine, bunchgrass ecosystem and a volcanic rock cliff landscape.

CASH ONLY - Lundbom Lake Recreation Site is a 102 unit campsite, great location for fishing, horseback riding, and camping. Green Lake Park is made up of 11 sites. Sites with developed facilities include Arrowhead, Blue Spring, Emerald Bay, Little Arrowhead, and Sunset View and are intended for high levels of recreation. Boyd Bay, Black Bear, Buckside Hill, Green Lake Islands, and Nolan Creek are additional sites intended to conserve natural and cultural values and allow lower levels of recreation. Great fishing, a wharf, paved boat launch, and campsites are four lures that make this park popular with local anglers. Martha Creek Park is the only provincial park on the Revelstoke reservoir. It features one of the few sandy beaches in the area and provides opportunities including an adventure playground, indoor picnic shelter and a large sport field, complete with a volleyball net. With its close proximity to Revelstoke, the park itself adds to the diversity of tourist attractions. Nearby Mount Revelstoke and Glacier National Parks in the rugged Selkirk Mountains, offer a wide range of activities. Especially popular is the paved Summit Road into the wildflower meadows and alpine of Mount Revelstoke.

Popular for fishing and hunting, the recreation site has a small number of campsites available. They are suitable for mid sized trailers as the camping sites themselves are quite large. There is also the Roscoe Lake trail that leaves near the boat launch and partially around the west side of Roscoe Lake to a lookout. Another trail leaves the Roscoe Trail and continues further on and over to Knight (Echo) Lake. Both trails are non-motorized.

Juniper Beach was established as a provincial park in 1989. The park protects a representative desert landscape which contains sagebrush, prickly pear cactus and of course, juniper. Part of the landscape includes deep post-glacial deposits and large scale erosion features. Paul Lake Park is nestled in a mixed forest of Douglas fir, pine and aspen. Easy access, beautiful scenery, plentiful fishing and a diversity of outdoor recreational activities make Paul Lake a popular destination. The park offers a large campground, a sani-station and an adventure playground. In addition there is a popular day-use area with beach and cartop boat launch, and over seven kilometres of hiking trails. This recreation site is a good location for fishermen, campers and hunters who want to be off the beaten path a bit. A good boat launch but the road to the site is very rough so is not recommended for any camping or boat unit being towed. Sites are big though and plenty of room but is treeless due to the removal of mountain pine beetle infested trees. The clear lake with its marl shoals and weed beds is a fly fishers dream.

Lassie Lake is an attractive, medium-sized lake with a weedy, shallow shoreline with a few tiny coarse sand beaches. As you first enter the campsite you will find a gravelled boat launch straight ahead of you. The first campsite is located to the right of the boat launch, and the remainder lie further along the access road. The campsites are located in a medium-aged forest with huge veteran larches towering above. This site is very popular and full to capacity for most of the summer, and is also popular with hunters in the fall.
