Privacy
What we collect
Your email address, so you can sign in. There are no passwords, signing in sends a one-time link to that address.
The planning data you create: favourited sites, private visit notes and ratings, saved trips, your vehicle details, your home town, and any availability watches. All of it is scoped to your account.
Your chosen home town is also kept in a browser cookie so drive times work before you sign in.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, and we don't run advertising or third-party ad tracking. Your notes and favourites are private to your account, if that ever changes, it will be opt-in and this page will say so before it happens.
Where it's stored
In a hosted Postgres database (Supabase). Campsite, weather and wildfire information comes from public sources, BC Parks, Rec Sites & Trails BC, Parks Canada, the BC Wildfire Service and Environment Canada, and contains nothing about you.
Deleting your data
Self-serve account deletion isn't built yet. Until it is, ask and your account and everything attached to it will be removed.
