Source ↗Lakelse Lake Park comprises three separately accessible areas, Furlong Bay Campground, Lakelse Picnic Site, and Gruchy's Beach. All three sections have sandy beach access to Lakelse Lake, a very beautiful lake complimented by the Kitimat Mountain Range in the background. Activities most enjoyed in the park include hiking, canoeing, boating, windsurfing, swimming, fishing, camping and sightseeing. Furlong Bay Campground is the main part of the Lakelse Lake Provincial Park. It includes lakefront day-use facilities, a covered picnic shelter, amphitheatre, Visitor Centre and ice cream stand. Kayaks and standup board rentals are available during the open season. The Lakelse Picnic Site family beach and covered area are located north of Furlong Bay and open year round.
