About this site
Source ↗Purden Lake Park is found east of Prince George, on the north shore of Purden Lake. The Cariboo and Rocky Mountains surround the park. The park’s upland is very forested with open areas near the lakefront. The lakefront is great for scenic shoreline strolls or swims, and is also a popular fishing spot. You can fish from the docks near the boat launch or find good spots along the lakeside trail. The lake is stocked each year with kokanee salmon and rainbow trout, giving anglers great opportunities both from shore and on the water.
